As such, he is a nationally-known professional speaker, trainer, and business performance coach with over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality and meetings industry. Growing up in Warren, Gary loves to come back and help his “home state” through his work with several Michigan hotels, resorts, and CVB’s. As a graduate of Michigan State University’s The School of Hospitality Business, he was awarded a 75th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni Award from MSU. He also serves on the Appointed Alumni Board of Directors for The School, and goes back frequently to the classroom as a guest lecturer and honorary faculty member. Gary’s sales retreats have been featured in Selling Power magazine, and he is a frequent author of articles in Meetings Media magazines and on-line articles pertaining to our business. He served 2 terms as president of the Northern California PCMA chapter, and currently serves on 2 committees for the Convention Industry Council.
